From about 1795 to 1810 there was a broad rekindling of interest in Christianity across America. This came to be known as the Second Great Awakening and radically reshaped Christianity throughout the Western Church. Much of what we see in the church today is a product of the Second Great Awakening. This is especially true in regards to Bible study and how the Bible is used.
This DVD study explains the historical and Biblical analysis of the Western Church from the Second Great Awakening until present time. It addresses the state of the Church today and the role of the Bible must play.
