Terms of Use
Effective Date: August 26, 2026
Last Updated: August 26, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Sacra Script Ministries’ websites, applications, accounts, products, digital resources, and other services.
Please read these Terms carefully.
1. Sacra Script and the Services
In these Terms:
-
“Sacra Script,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Sacra Script Ministries.
-
“Services” means Sacra Script’s websites and language versions, Bible Ventures and other mobile or desktop applications, accounts, digital resources, courses, printed products, email communications, official social-media pages, and authorized video, audio, podcast, and streaming channels, together with related ministry services.
-
“Content” means the Bible teaching, text, graphics, maps, timelines, photographs, illustrations, video, audio, software, application features, downloadable materials, course materials, and other resources made available through the Services.
These Terms apply regardless of whether you access the Services through a website, mobile device, desktop computer, app store, or another supported technology.
2. Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using the Services, creating an account, downloading an application, or purchasing or accessing a resource, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.
Certain purchases, applications, courses, or resources may include additional terms presented at the time of access or purchase. Those additional terms become part of these Terms for that particular Service.
Our Privacy Policy explains how Sacra Script handles personal information. Acknowledging the Privacy Policy does not automatically enroll you in optional marketing communications.
If you use the Services on behalf of a church, school, ministry, business, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.
3. Eligibility and Parental Permission
Sacra Script offers Bible resources that may be suitable for families and children under parental supervision.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an individual Sacra Script account. A parent or legal guardian may create and manage an account for family use.
If you are at least 13 years old but under the legal age of adulthood where you live, you may use account, purchase, contribution, or communication features only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
A parent or guardian who permits a minor to use the Services is responsible for supervising that use.
Purchases and contributions must be made by an adult or with the adult’s authorization.
4. Sacra Script Accounts
Some Services may require a Sacra Script account.
When creating or using an account, you agree to:
-
Provide accurate and current information.
-
Maintain the confidentiality of your password.
-
Use reasonable safeguards to protect your account.
-
Accept responsibility for activity conducted through your account.
-
Notify Sacra Script promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
-
Not create an account using another person’s identity or information without authorization.
-
Not sell, transfer, lend, or share your account with another person.
You may use your account on supported devices that you own or control, subject to these Terms and applicable app-store rules.
Sacra Script may require you to verify your email address, reset a password, or take another reasonable security step before allowing access to an account.
You may request account deletion as described in our Privacy Policy and Account Deletion page.
Deleting an account will remove account preferences and end access that depends on the account. Some purchase, contribution, security, or financial records may be retained as explained in the Privacy Policy.
5. Limited License to Use the Services
Subject to these Terms, Sacra Script grants you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, nonsublicensable license to access and use the Services for lawful personal, family, church, classroom, or ministry purposes as permitted below.
This license does not transfer ownership of the Services or Content to you.
Your right to use the Services depends on:
-
Compliance with these Terms.
-
Compliance with any applicable product-specific terms.
-
Maintaining any account required for access.
-
Using a supported device or platform.
-
Paying any applicable purchase price.
Sacra Script reserves all rights not expressly granted in these Terms.
6. Ownership of Sacra Script Content
Unless otherwise stated, the Services and Content are owned by Sacra Script Ministries or are used by Sacra Script with permission.
The Services and Content are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
Sacra Script’s name, logos, application names, product names, designs, graphics, and distinctive ministry materials may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation without written permission.
Some Bible translations, photographs, maps, artwork, fonts, software components, and other materials belong to third parties and may be subject to additional terms or restrictions.
7. Permitted Use of Content
Sacra Script exists to help people understand and teach the Word of God. These Terms are not intended to prevent ordinary Bible study, family discipleship, church teaching, or classroom use.
Unless a particular resource states otherwise, you may:
-
Visit and read freely available website content.
-
Share links to Sacra Script webpages and authorized videos.
-
Quote reasonable portions of freely available Content with clear attribution to Sacra Script Ministries.
-
Display freely available website Content during a noncommercial, in-person church, classroom, family, or small-group gathering.
-
Stream an authorized Sacra Script video through the player or platform through which Sacra Script made it available.
-
Print a freely available resource when Sacra Script has expressly provided a print or download option.
-
Use a lawfully purchased printed book in personal, family, classroom, church, or small-group study.
These permissions do not authorize you to:
-
Republish an entire article, study, course, video, book, or other substantial resource.
-
Upload Sacra Script Content to another website, application, content library, or file-sharing service.
-
Record, download, or redistribute streamed video or audio unless Sacra Script provides a download option.
-
Make or distribute copies of a paid digital resource for other people.
-
Reproduce a printed book or substantial portion of it.
-
Translate and distribute Content without permission.
-
Remove copyright, trademark, attribution, or other ownership notices.
-
Sell or commercially exploit Sacra Script Content.
-
Include Sacra Script Content in a product or service offered for sale.
-
Create a competing database, course, application, or publication from Sacra Script Content.
-
Use Sacra Script Content to train, develop, or improve an external artificial-intelligence or machine-learning model without written permission.
A church, class, or small group may view a resource together, but a purchase made for one individual does not automatically grant permission to distribute copies or account access to every participant.
A separate Sacra Script Permissions Policy may identify additional uses that are permitted without an individual request. Where a specific Permissions Policy or written license grants broader permission, that specific permission controls.
Requests for uses not covered by these Terms may be sent to info@sacrascript.org.
8. Paid Digital Resources
Paid digital resources are licensed, not sold.
Unless the product description expressly states otherwise:
-
A digital purchase is for the purchaser’s personal use.
-
The purchase may be connected to a Sacra Script account or app-store account.
-
The purchaser may access the resource on supported devices subject to platform and account limitations.
-
The resource may not be copied, shared, resold, sublicensed, or transferred to another person.
-
Purchase confirmation may be required before access can be restored.
-
Access may require an Internet connection, a supported application, an active account, or current software.
Sacra Script may offer complimentary, discounted, or promotional access. Such access may be subject to additional terms and does not necessarily create a permanent entitlement.
9. Application and Software License
Subject to these Terms, Sacra Script grants you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, nonsublicensable license to install and use Bible Ventures or another Sacra Script application on supported devices that you own or control.
You may not:
-
Copy or distribute the application.
-
Modify or create derivative versions of the application.
-
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to obtain source code, except to the limited extent applicable law expressly permits.
-
Circumvent an account, payment, licensing, entitlement, or security system.
-
Use the application to gain unauthorized access to data or systems.
-
Remove ownership notices.
-
Rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the application.
-
Use the application for an unlawful purpose.
Updates, upgrades, corrections, and replacement versions are governed by these Terms unless separate terms are provided.
10. App Stores
Bible Ventures and other Sacra Script applications may be distributed through Apple, Google, Microsoft, or another authorized platform.
When you obtain an application through an app store:
-
The app store’s terms also apply.
-
These Terms are between you and Sacra Script, not between you and the app store.
-
Sacra Script, rather than the app store, is responsible for the application and its support, except where the app store’s terms or applicable law provide otherwise.
-
The app store may process purchases, refunds, entitlements, and account information under its own terms and privacy policy.
-
You must comply with applicable app-store usage rules.
For an application obtained through Apple’s App Store, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms as they relate to that application. Apple may enforce the applicable provisions of these Terms against you.
Nothing in these Terms limits any right provided directly by an app store or by applicable consumer law.
11. Purchases and Billing
Prices and applicable purchase terms will be displayed before you confirm a transaction.
By submitting a purchase, you authorize the applicable payment processor or app store to charge the payment method you provide.
You are responsible for:
-
Providing accurate billing and account information.
-
Reviewing the price before confirming the purchase.
-
Maintaining access to the account associated with the purchase.
-
Keeping purchase receipts when they may be needed for restoration or support.
-
Reporting duplicate, unauthorized, or incorrect transactions promptly.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, each paid Bible Ventures resource and Sacra Script digital product is offered as a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
Recurring contributions are donations and are not product subscriptions.
12. Continuing and Lifetime Access
When Sacra Script describes a digital purchase as providing “lifetime access,” it means that a verified purchaser may continue accessing the purchased resource through supported versions of the Services for as long as Sacra Script offers that resource or a reasonably equivalent replacement.
Lifetime access does not mean that:
-
A particular device will continue operating forever.
-
Every operating system will remain supported.
-
A particular app-store listing or application version will remain available permanently.
-
A resource will always be delivered through the same technology.
-
Sacra Script must maintain obsolete or insecure software.
Sacra Script may:
-
Update an application.
-
Replace an outdated application version.
-
Change technical requirements.
-
Move a resource to another supported platform.
-
Change the method used to confirm purchases or provide access.
When a delivery method changes, Sacra Script will make reasonable efforts to preserve access for verified purchasers. We will not require a verified purchaser to buy the same resource again merely because Sacra Script changed the supported delivery method, while that resource or a reasonably equivalent replacement continues to be offered.
Access may be affected when:
-
An account is deleted.
-
A purchase cannot be verified.
-
An app store no longer provides the necessary entitlement record.
-
A device or operating system is no longer supported.
-
The user violates these Terms.
-
Continued access would violate law or create a material security risk.
13. Refunds and Returns
App-Store Purchases
Purchases made through Apple, Google, Microsoft, or another app store are billed and generally refunded by that store.
A refund request for an app-store purchase should ordinarily be submitted through the store where the purchase was made. Sacra Script may assist with identifying the transaction or resolving an access problem but may not have authority to issue the refund directly.
Website Digital Purchases
Because digital products and account access may be delivered immediately, website digital purchases are generally not refundable after the product has been delivered, downloaded, or accessed.
Sacra Script will review reasonable requests involving:
-
A duplicate charge.
-
An unauthorized transaction.
-
Failure to deliver the purchased resource.
-
A material technical problem that Sacra Script cannot resolve.
-
A refund required by applicable law.
Printed Products
Printed-product returns, replacements, and refunds are governed by the product description and any Sacra Script Returns and Refunds Policy in effect at the time of purchase.
Contact Sacra Script promptly if a printed product:
-
Arrives damaged.
-
Contains a material manufacturing defect.
-
Is not the item ordered.
-
Is lost or incorrectly delivered.
Shipping and delivery dates are estimates unless Sacra Script expressly guarantees a date.
14. Contributions to Sacra Script Ministries
Contributions are voluntary charitable gifts and are not purchases of goods or services unless Sacra Script clearly states otherwise.
You authorize Sacra Script and its contribution processor to process a contribution according to the amount and frequency you select.
You may manage or end a recurring contribution through the available account tools or by contacting Sacra Script.
Unless Sacra Script expressly agrees in writing that a gift is legally restricted, descriptions of projects and giving opportunities reflect Sacra Script’s intended ministry use. Sacra Script retains discretion to use contributions where they are most needed to carry out the ministry’s purposes.
If a contribution was made by mistake, duplicated, or submitted without authorization, contact Sacra Script promptly. Any correction or refund will be handled according to applicable law and Sacra Script’s financial procedures.
15. Messages, Feedback, and Personal Stories
When you send Sacra Script a question, support message, suggestion, correction, or other communication, you give us permission to receive, store, review, and use that communication as reasonably necessary to:
-
Respond to you.
-
Provide support.
-
Correct an error.
-
Improve the Services.
-
Protect security.
-
Maintain an appropriate record of the interaction.
General ideas and suggestions may be used by Sacra Script without compensation or obligation to you.
Submitting a private message, testimony, photograph, recording, or personal story does not automatically give Sacra Script permission to publish it publicly.
Sacra Script will obtain separate permission before publicly using your name, likeness, photograph, recording, testimony, or personal story for promotional purposes.
16. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use the Services to:
-
Violate any applicable law.
-
Infringe the rights of Sacra Script or another person.
-
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
-
Gain unauthorized access to an account, server, database, or system.
-
Share, sell, or transfer account credentials.
-
Bypass payment, access, geographic, licensing, or security controls.
-
Introduce malware, harmful code, or disruptive technology.
-
Probe or test system vulnerabilities without written authorization.
-
Interfere with the operation or security of the Services.
-
Overload the Services through automated requests.
-
Scrape, harvest, index, or systematically copy Content except through a search engine operating according to accepted technical standards.
-
Use bots or automated tools to create accounts or access paid resources.
-
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract application source code except where applicable law expressly permits.
-
Remove ownership or attribution notices.
-
Use the Services for fraudulent activity.
-
Resell or commercially exploit access to the Services.
-
Use Sacra Script Content to train an external artificial-intelligence or machine-learning system without written permission.
-
Harass, threaten, exploit, or harm another person, including a child; collect another person’s personal information without authority; or send spam or unauthorized commercial solicitations.
-
Help another person engage in prohibited conduct.
17. Third-Party Content and Services
The Services may contain links to, integrations with, or content from third-party services.
These may include:
-
App stores.
-
Payment and contribution platforms.
-
Video and audio platforms.
-
Shipping providers.
-
Social-media services.
-
Bible publishers.
-
External websites.
-
Other ministry or educational resources.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Sacra Script does not control and is not responsible for the availability, security, accuracy, or practices of an independent third-party service.
A link does not necessarily mean Sacra Script endorses every statement, product, or practice found on the linked service.
18. Updates, Changes, and Availability
Sacra Script may add, update, correct, replace, suspend, or discontinue a feature or Service.
We may make changes for reasons including:
-
Improving content or technology.
-
Correcting an error.
-
Responding to security concerns.
-
Adapting to a new operating system.
-
Complying with app-store requirements.
-
Replacing outdated technology.
-
Responding to legal requirements.
-
Managing ministry resources responsibly.
Sacra Script does not guarantee that:
-
Every feature will always be available.
-
Every device or operating system will remain supported.
-
Every Service will be uninterrupted.
-
Content will be free from every technical or typographical error.
-
Internet-based resources will always be available offline.
When reasonably practical, Sacra Script will provide notice of a material change affecting a paid resource.
19. Privacy and Electronic Communications
Sacra Script’s Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information.
By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have been given access to the Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy does not grant Sacra Script permission to send optional marketing communications where separate consent is required.
Where permitted by law, you agree that notices and disclosures relating to the Services may be provided electronically by email, within an application, or by posting them through the Services, and that such communications satisfy any requirement that they be in writing. This does not authorize Sacra Script to send optional marketing communications without any consent required by applicable law.
20. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time.
Sacra Script may suspend, restrict, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to:
-
Protect the security of an account or system.
-
Investigate suspected fraud or unauthorized access.
-
Comply with law or a valid legal order.
-
Prevent harm to Sacra Script or another person.
-
Address a material or repeated violation of these Terms.
-
Protect licensed Content.
-
Respond to nonpayment or a reversed transaction.
-
Discontinue a Service.
Where reasonably practical, Sacra Script will provide notice and an opportunity to correct a violation before permanently terminating access.
Sacra Script will not arbitrarily terminate verified paid access. However, a serious violation involving fraud, account theft, unlawful distribution, security interference, or deliberate circumvention of payment controls may result in immediate suspension or termination.
Sections concerning ownership, restrictions, disclaimers, liability, governing law, and other provisions that reasonably should continue will survive termination.
21. Educational and Ministry Disclaimer
Sacra Script’s Services are provided for Bible teaching, education, discipleship, and ministry purposes.
Although Sacra Script seeks to provide careful, reliable, and accurate material, technical, typographical, production, or other errors may occur.
Sacra Script’s resources are not a substitute for professional legal, medical, mental-health, financial, tax, or other licensed professional advice.
Your use of the Services does not create a pastoral, counseling, professional, fiduciary, or confidential relationship unless Sacra Script expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
22. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Services and Content are provided on an “as available” basis.
Sacra Script does not guarantee that the Services will:
-
Be uninterrupted or error-free.
-
Operate on every device.
-
Remain compatible with every operating system.
-
Be free from every harmful component.
-
Meet every user’s individual requirements.
-
Preserve every user setting or item of data indefinitely.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that applicable law does not permit Sacra Script to exclude.
23. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sacra Script Ministries and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to the Services.
This includes, where legally permitted, loss resulting from:
-
Inability to access the Services.
-
Device or software incompatibility.
-
Loss of data.
-
Unauthorized account access not caused by Sacra Script’s failure to use reasonable care.
-
Reliance on third-party services.
-
Interruption of Internet or app-store services.
-
User misuse of the Services.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sacra Script’s total liability for a claim relating to a paid product or Service will not exceed the greater of:
-
The amount you paid Sacra Script for the specific product or Service giving rise to the claim; or
-
One hundred United States dollars.
These limitations do not apply to liability that applicable law does not permit Sacra Script to limit or exclude.
24. Responsibility for Unlawful Misuse
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for claims, losses, or expenses resulting directly from:
-
Your unlawful use of the Services.
-
Your deliberate violation of these Terms.
-
Your infringement of another person’s rights.
-
Content or information you submit without the necessary authority.
This provision does not require you to compensate Sacra Script for a claim caused by Sacra Script’s own unlawful conduct or failure to use reasonable care.
25. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Any legal action arising from these Terms or the Services must be brought in a state court located in Collin County, Texas, or in a United States federal court having jurisdiction over Collin County, Texas.
You and Sacra Script consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
This section does not deprive a consumer of a protection that the law of the consumer’s place of residence does not permit to be waived.
Before filing a legal action, the parties agree to make a reasonable, good-faith effort to resolve the matter directly.
26. Changes to These Terms
Sacra Script may update these Terms as the Services, technology, or legal requirements change.
When the Terms are updated, Sacra Script will revise the “Last Updated” date.
If a change materially affects an account or paid resource, Sacra Script will provide reasonable notice through the website, an application, email, or another appropriate method.
Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, except where applicable law requires another form of acceptance.
27. General Provisions
Entire Agreement
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, applicable product descriptions, and any posted Permissions Policy or Returns and Refunds Policy constitute the agreement between you and Sacra Script concerning the Services.
Severability
If a provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. The invalid provision will be interpreted as closely as legally possible to its intended purpose.
No Waiver
Sacra Script’s failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce it later.
Assignment
You may not transfer your account, license, or rights under these Terms without Sacra Script’s written permission.
Headings
Section headings are provided for convenience and do not alter the meaning of these Terms.
Translations
Sacra Script may provide translations of these Terms for accessibility. If there is a material difference between a translation and the English version, the English version will control to the extent permitted by applicable law.
