The Bible has reached more people than at any time in history, yet many who possess it have never been led through it. Sacra Script exists to help all people navigate through the Scriptures, revealing God’s grand story of salvation in Jesus. Our resources are not the finish line. They are tools in the hands of the church, built to raise up men and women who know the Word, love the Lord, and make disciples who make more disciples.
Work together for the truth
In the New Testament, the ministry of the Word did not advance through isolated servants acting alone. Paul’s letters repeatedly speak of his “fellow workers” or “co-laborers,” men and women who shared in his trials and triumphs of ministry through their service, support, prayers, and partnership.
The Apostle John uses this same word when he writes:
Therefore we ought to support people like these so that we may be co-laborers for the truth.
3 John 1:8
John’s point is simple but profound: those who faithfully support servants of the Word share in the work. They do not stand outside the ministry looking on. They participate in it.
That is why we call our faithful supporters the Fellowship of Collaborators. When you pray, give, and stand with Sacra Script, you become a co-laborer with us in the truth.
The Roman Arch
Each stone in an ancient arch has a place and bears a weight. Once assembled, the Romans used this piece of architecture to build bridges, towers, coliseums, and even cathedrals.
This powerful symbol represents our Fellowship of Collaborators. The keystone marked with a cross demonstrates that at the center, Christ holds the whole work together. Each collaborator is essential to the work as we together build up the body of Christ.
The Global Challenge
The Center for the Study of Global Christianity estimates that 5 million pastors are serving the global church today. Only about 5% of these pastors have theological training.
The result is that the rigorous years of training Jesus gave his disciples are not being replicated in most churches or for most believers. Often, through no fault of their own, neither the pastor nor the parishioner has ever had the Bible explained to them in its context.
The need before us
Jesus gave His church clear marching orders: make disciples of all nations, teaching them to obey everything He commanded [Matthew 28:19-20].
We praise the Lord for the faithful generations who have copied, translated, printed, digitized, and distributed Scripture across the earth. Their work is foundational. The Word of God must be placed in the hands of the nations.
But access to Scripture is not the same as understanding Scripture.
Many believers can open a Bible, yet no one has ever led them through the Bible. They know stories, verses, and doctrines, but the story still feels scattered. The covenants, kingdoms, prophets, apostles, promises, fulfillments, and commands of Scripture remain disconnected.
Christ gave His church pastors and teachers to equip His people so that the body of Christ might be built up [Ephesians 4:11-12]. The Word must be proclaimed, explained, understood, obeyed, and handed to others.
This is the work the Lord has set before Sacra Script: to build resources that help disciples understand Scripture in its context, find their place in God’s grand story, and make disciples who make more disciples.
