CHRISTIANITY COURSE

Our Life

Practices that form a disciple of Jesus

Christianity is faith and practice—truth received and a life reshaped. Our Life explores ten practices through which believers enter the community, remember Christ, receive God’s Word, pray, worship, serve, practice restraint, steward every gift, and bear witness.

These are not techniques for earning God’s love. They are embodied responses to the relational God who meets physical people through water, bread, words, prayer, community, sacrifice, and mission—physical signs of spiritual realities.

WHY THIS COURSE

Move from knowing the faith to inhabiting it

Every lesson joins a concrete Christian practice to the nature and grace of God. That connection keeps discipleship from becoming either empty ritual or vague sincerity.

The course will help you understand what each practice means, see how it belongs in Scripture, recognize common distortions, and take a faithful next step within the life of the church.

Ten lessons to deepen belief and practice

Start at the beginning for a connected course, or choose the question you need to explore today.

Lesson 1

Baptism: Entering the Community of Faith

Baptism makes Christian beginnings visible: dying and rising with Christ, cleansing, confession, and entry into His people.

Lesson 2

Communion: Remembering Christ Together

At the Lord’s Table, ordinary bread and cup become a shared act of remembrance, proclamation, participation, and hope.

Lesson 3

Scripture: Sustained by the Living Word

God’s Word does not merely fill the mind; it sustains, trains, corrects, and reshapes the life of a disciple.

Lesson 4

Prayer: Communion with the God Who Knows

Prayer is not giving an uninformed God new data; it is communion with the Father who knows and welcomes His children.

Lesson 5

The Relational God: Father, Son, and Spirit

Christian life flows from who God eternally is: one God, known as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in holy love.

Lesson 6

Worship: The Life of Adoration

Humans are made to adore; the decisive question is not whether we worship, but whom our lives treat as worthy.

Lesson 7

The Priesthood of All Believers

Every believer belongs to a royal priesthood—brought near to God and given a meaningful place in the service of Christ’s body.

Lesson 8

Self-Denial: Following Jesus in a Culture of More

Jesus does not call disciples to decorate the old self but to deny it, take up the cross, and follow Him.

Lesson 9

Stewardship: Everything Belongs to God

Stewardship begins before budgeting: the earth, our lives, and everything entrusted to us already belong to God.

Lesson 10

Evangelism: Bearing God’s Image to the Nations

From creation onward, God’s image-bearers are sent outward so that His glory and blessing may fill the earth.

WEAVE BELIEF INTO PRACTICE

Let belief become a practiced life
