Last Updated: August 26, 2026

Sacra Script Ministries respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly.

This Privacy Policy explains how Sacra Script Ministries collects, uses, protects, and discloses personal information when you interact with Sacra Script.

For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “personal information” means information that identifies, relates to, or can reasonably be linked with an individual. It does not include information that has been aggregated or deidentified so that it can no longer reasonably identify an individual.

This Privacy Policy does not govern the independent privacy practices of Apple, Google, Microsoft, payment processors, donation processors, shipping companies, or other third-party services. Their own privacy policies apply when they process information independently.

3. Personal Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with Sacra Script and which Services you use.

You may provide information such as:

  • Your name.

  • Your telephone number.
  • Your communication preferences.

You may use some Sacra Script content without creating an account. Certain features, purchases, or account-based resources may require an account.

Purchase and Contribution Information

When you purchase a product or make a contribution, a payment processor, donation processor, app store, or other financial-service provider may collect your payment information directly.

Sacra Script may receive:

  • Your name and contact information.
  • The amount and date of the transaction.
  • The product purchased or contribution made.
  • Shipping and fulfillment information.
  • A transaction or receipt number.
  • Limited information about the payment method.
  • Information needed to confirm, restore, or manage a purchase or recurring gift.

When a third-party payment provider processes a transaction, Sacra Script generally does not receive or store your complete payment-card number.

When you visit our website or use an application, we or our service providers may automatically receive information such as:

  • Your Internet Protocol address.
  • Browser type.
  • Operating system.

  • Pages, resources, or features accessed.
  • Dates and times of access.
  • Referring or exit pages.
  • General geographic region derived from an Internet Protocol address.
  • Website or application performance information.
  • Crash reports and diagnostic information.
  • Security, login, and fraud-prevention information.
  • Cookie, session, or similar technical identifiers.

Bible Ventures does not collect precise device-location information unless a future feature clearly requests it and you give permission through your device.

Information Received from Other Services

We may receive limited information from companies that help us provide the Services, including:

  • Apple, Google, and Microsoft app stores.
  • Payment and contribution processors.
  • Shipping and product-fulfillment providers.
  • Authentication and account-service providers.
  • Email and communications providers.
  • Website, application, analytics, security, and technical-support providers.

For example, an app store may provide information confirming that an account purchased a particular resource without giving Sacra Script the complete payment information used for the purchase.

Where applicable law requires Sacra Script to identify a legal basis for processing personal information, we rely on one or more of the following:

Providing a Requested Service

  • Process an order.
  • Confirm an app purchase.
  • Respond to a request.
  • Provide customer or technical support.

  • Using information for a purpose that was not reasonably expected when it was collected.

You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that lawfully occurred before consent was withdrawn.

Legitimate Ministry and Operational Interests

We may process information when reasonably necessary to:

  • Operate and improve the Services.
  • Understand general use of the Services.
  • Maintain security.
  • Prevent fraud.
  • Protect our legal rights.
  • Communicate with people who have an existing relationship with Sacra Script.
  • Carry out the ordinary activities of Sacra Script Ministries.

We do not rely on these interests where they are outweighed by your rights or where applicable law requires consent.

Legal Obligations

We may process and retain information when necessary to satisfy applicable accounting, financial, reporting, security, legal, or regulatory obligations.

6. Religious and Other Sensitive Information

Using Bible Ventures, reading Bible teaching, viewing a Sacra Script resource, or visiting the Sacra Script website does not mean that we assume you belong to a particular church, denomination, or religion or that you hold a particular religious belief.

Sacra Script does not require you to provide a statement of religious belief merely to visit our website, use general Bible Ventures content, or create a standard account.

Information that you voluntarily submit in a message, survey, support request, testimony, or other communication may reveal religious beliefs, health information, family circumstances, or other sensitive matters.

When you voluntarily provide such information, we use it only as reasonably necessary to:

  • Respond to your communication.
  • Provide the service or ministry response you requested.
  • Maintain an appropriate record of the interaction.
  • Protect the safety and rights of those involved.
  • Carry out another purpose you clearly authorized.

We do not sell sensitive information. We do not use voluntarily submitted religious, health, or personal ministry information for third-party behavioral advertising.

Sacra Script will not publish your testimony, personal story, photograph, recording, or private communication for promotional purposes without separate permission.

7. How We Disclose Personal Information

Sacra Script does not sell or rent personal information.

Sacra Script does not sell, rent, exchange, or provide donor or mailing lists to other organizations for their independent fundraising or marketing.

We may disclose personal information in the following limited circumstances.

Service Providers

We use service providers to help operate the Services. Depending on the service involved, these providers may assist with:

  • Website and application hosting.
  • Account authentication.
  • Email delivery.
  • Payment and contribution processing.
  • Order fulfillment and shipping.
  • Video and content delivery.
  • Analytics and diagnostics.
  • Fraud prevention and security.
  • Technical maintenance and development.
  • Customer and technical support.
  • Data storage and backup.
  • Professional accounting or legal services.

These providers may receive information only as reasonably necessary to perform their services. We expect them to protect the information and use it only for authorized purposes.

App Stores and Payment Providers

Apple, Google, Microsoft, payment processors, and donation processors may receive and process information needed to complete a purchase, contribution, refund, purchase restoration, or other requested transaction.

These organizations may process some information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Product Fulfillment

We may provide a product printer, fulfillment service, or shipping provider with the name, address, order details, and contact information needed to produce, deliver, or provide support for an order.

Legal and Safety Reasons

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable law or valid legal process.
  • Respond to a lawful government request.
  • Investigate fraud, misuse, or a security incident.
  • Protect the rights, property, or safety of Sacra Script, our users, or others.
  • Enforce our Terms of Use or other agreements.

If Sacra Script Ministries undergoes a reorganization, merger, dissolution, or transfer of all or part of its ministry operations or assets, personal information related to those operations may be transferred as permitted by law. Sacra Script will take reasonable steps to require the recipient to handle the information consistently with this Privacy Policy unless a different practice is disclosed as required by law.

At Your Direction

We may disclose information when you direct us to do so or give us permission.

8. Advertising and Tracking

Sacra Script does not sell or rent personal information.

Sacra Script may use general analytics and limited campaign-measurement tools to understand:

  • How people find our website or applications.
  • Which ministry communications are effective.
  • How people use general website or application features.
  • Whether an advertisement or announcement resulted in a website visit, app installation, or purchase.

Sacra Script does not:

  • Display third-party behavioral advertising inside Bible Ventures.
  • Use prayer requests, support messages, or other private communications for advertising.
  • Provide advertisers with the content of private Bible Ventures study activity.
  • Use individual course progress for advertising.
  • Use contribution records for targeted advertising.
  • Use voluntarily submitted religious or sensitive information for advertising.
  • Provide private Sacra Script account contents to advertisers.

We may use aggregated or deidentified information to describe the general reach and effectiveness of Sacra Script’s ministry, such as the number of app installations or the countries in which Bible Ventures is used.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Sacra Script’s website may use cookies, local storage, pixels, tags, and similar technologies.

Sacra Script uses Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to measure website traffic and the effectiveness of ministry communications and advertising. These tools use cookies and similar technologies and may collect technical and website-use information. Meta may use information it receives through the Meta Pixel to provide measurement services and help deliver or target advertisements.

These technologies may be used to:

  • Keep the website functioning.
  • Maintain login sessions.
  • Remember preferences.
  • Operate shopping and contribution features.
  • Protect accounts and prevent fraud.
  • Understand general website use.
  • Diagnose technical problems.
  • Measure the effectiveness of ministry communications.

Some cookies are necessary for the website to function. Other cookies, such as certain analytics or measurement cookies, may be optional.

Where required, we will request permission before using nonessential cookies. You may also use available cookie controls, browser settings, or device settings to limit or delete cookies.

Blocking some cookies may affect certain account, shopping, contribution, media, or preference features.

Because browser “Do Not Track” signals are not governed by one uniform standard, we do not use them as a general consent mechanism. Where applicable law requires recognition of a supported universal privacy signal, Sacra Script will process that signal as required.

10. Email and Other Communications

Sacra Script may send several kinds of communications.

Required or Transactional Communications

These may include:

  • Purchase confirmations.
  • Contribution receipts.
  • Account notices.
  • Password-reset messages.
  • Security alerts.
  • Changes affecting a product or service.
  • Responses to questions.
  • Technical-support communications.

You may continue to receive these messages when necessary even if you unsubscribe from optional ministry or promotional emails.

Optional Ministry Communications

If you subscribe or otherwise request them, we may send:

  • Ministry news.
  • Bible teaching.
  • Resource announcements.
  • App announcements.
  • Course information.
  • Giving opportunities.
  • Other Sacra Script updates.

You may unsubscribe by using the unsubscribe or subscription-management link included in the message.

You may also contact us at info@sacrascript.org.

Unsubscribing from optional email does not automatically delete a Sacra Script account or transaction record.

Application Notifications

You may be able to manage application notifications through the application or your device settings.

11. Data Retention

Sacra Script retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Retention periods vary according to the kind of information involved.

For example:

  • Account information may be retained while the account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward.
  • Purchase and contribution records may be retained as needed for accounting, financial reporting, fraud prevention, purchase restoration, and legal obligations.
  • Shipping information may be retained as needed to complete and support an order.
  • Support correspondence may be retained as needed to respond, maintain continuity, and resolve disputes.
  • Marketing information may be retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
  • A limited record of an unsubscribe request may be retained to prevent further unwanted email.
  • Security logs may be retained for a limited period needed to investigate misuse or protect the Services.
  • Backup copies may remain temporarily until they are overwritten through the ordinary backup process.

When information is no longer reasonably needed, we may delete it, deidentify it, or aggregate it.

Aggregated or deidentified information that no longer identifies an individual may be retained for ministry planning, research, statistics, security, and service improvement.

12. Information Security

Sacra Script uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, alteration, or disclosure.

These measures may include:

  • Secure connections.
  • Access controls.
  • Account authentication.
  • Limited staff and contractor access.
  • Security monitoring.
  • Backups.
  • Service-provider safeguards.
  • Appropriate technical and organizational procedures.

No website, application, database, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your password and devices and for notifying us if you believe your account has been used without authorization.

If required by applicable law, Sacra Script will notify affected individuals and appropriate authorities of a qualifying personal-information breach.

13. International Use and Data Processing

Sacra Script Ministries is based in the United States.

If you use the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or in another country where Sacra Script’s service providers operate.

Privacy laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live. Where required by applicable law, Sacra Script will use appropriate safeguards for the transfer and processing of personal information.

14. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to request that Sacra Script:

  • Confirm whether we process your personal information.
  • Provide access to personal information we maintain about you.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Delete certain personal information.
  • Provide a portable copy of certain information.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent.
  • Stop sending optional marketing communications.
  • Review a decision concerning a privacy request.

Where applicable law provides this right, you may also lodge a complaint with an appropriate privacy or data-protection authority. You may make a request by emailing info@sacrascript.org with “Privacy Request” in the subject line.

You may also write to:

Sacra Script Ministries
Attention: Privacy Officer
5100 Eldorado Parkway
Suite 102-316
McKinney, Texas 75070
United States

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will use information submitted for verification only to process and document the request.

Where applicable law permits, you may authorize another person to submit a privacy request on your behalf. We may require proof of that authorization and may verify your identity directly before completing the request.

Some information may be exempt from a request. For example, we may retain information needed to:

  • Complete a transaction.
  • Maintain financial or contribution records.
  • Confirm a purchase.
  • Prevent fraud.
  • Protect security.
  • Exercise or defend legal rights.
  • Comply with applicable law.
  • Maintain a record that you unsubscribed from communications.

We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

15. Account Access and Deletion

You may be able to update certain account information through your Sacra Script account.

You may request deletion through Bible Ventures, through the Account Deletion page linked from our website and app-store listings, or by contacting info@sacrascript.org.

Deleting Bible Ventures from a device does not by itself delete your Sacra Script account or information stored on Sacra Script’s systems.

Subject to the limited retention described below, completing an account-deletion request will delete or deidentify personal information associated with the account. This includes, where applicable:

  • Account profile information.
  • Account settings and preferences.
  • Account-linked application information.

Access that depends on the deleted account will end.

Limited information may be retained when reasonably necessary to document transactions, restore or verify purchases, prevent fraud, comply with law, maintain financial records, or protect Sacra Script’s rights.

Before requesting deletion, you should understand that some account-based access or preferences may not be recoverable after the account has been deleted.

16. Children’s Privacy

Sacra Script creates Bible resources that may be used by individuals, families, churches, schools, and children under parental supervision.

Bible Ventures and Sacra Script accounts are not directed to children under 13. Children under 13 may use suitable non-account content under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, but they may not create an individual account or submit personal information directly to Sacra Script. A parent or legal guardian may create and manage an account or communicate with Sacra Script on behalf of a child.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to Sacra Script without appropriate permission, contact us at info@sacrascript.org. We will review the matter and take appropriate action.

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children’s use of the Services.

17. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Services may link to or include content provided by third parties.

These may include:

  • App stores.
  • Payment or donation providers.
  • Social-media services.
  • Video or audio providers.
  • Shipping and fulfillment providers.
  • External websites and resources.

Sacra Script does not control the independent privacy practices of those organizations. You should review their privacy policies before providing information directly to them.

A link to another service does not necessarily mean that Sacra Script endorses every statement, product, or practice of that service.

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Sacra Script may update this Privacy Policy as our Services, technology, or legal responsibilities change.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of the policy.

If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will provide reasonable notice through the website, an application, email, or another appropriate method.

We will not use previously collected sensitive information for a materially different purpose without providing appropriate notice and obtaining consent where required.
