Vanessa is a gifted Bible teacher, dedicated to serving women by instructing them in the truths of Scripture.

Highlights

Vanessa believes enjoying a life-long joyous relationship with God requires a life-long study of His Word. As a college professor, she taught reading and study skills for several years at Blinn College in Bryan, Texas and Collin College in Frisco, Texas. Currently, she writes for Sacra Script ministries, developing Bible study curriculum. Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University. She also has a Masters degree in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary.

Vanessa writes curriculum for women’s Bible study at Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, Texas. She is a contributor to Tony Evan’s NCAASI curriculum for the Urban Alternative. She teaches the Bible in various venues, and has led worship in music for over 20 years. She plays acoustic guitar and percussion. She loves to sing praise to the Lord and to encourage others to do the same. Vanessa is married to Rhome van Dyck, pastor, Bible teacher and founder of Sacra Script ministries.

Vanessa and Rhome have two young daughters, Kaleah and Adrielle.  Vanessa stays at home to work and raise the girls. Kaleah is an elementary school student, and Adrielle attends a pre-school class designed to meet her special-needs. Both are fun-loving little girls with great-big hearts for the Lord.
